“Brain Care Centre is a non-pro t organization that offers programs and services at no cost to adults (18+) who have sustained an acquired brain injury and their families. Brain Care Centre produces a quarterly newsletter, ‘Brain Care Matters,’ which addresses topics in brain injury and the community. Amanda has been writing articles for the newsletters since 2013. Her articles focus on the Edmonton community and how brain injury affects those living in it; for example, she has written articles on addiction, homelessness, and hope in the community, all relating back to the prevalence of brain injury.
