Bio

I am a writer and editor based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English from Brandon University, and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Alberta. I also worked with Brandon University professors Dr. Di Brandt, Dr. Darrell Racine and Dr. Dale Lakevold, to fact-check bibliographies and organize their papers.

I was a member of the planning committee for the Edmonton-based con
Pure Speculation (link) until its closure in 2019, where I sat on a panel with David Gerrold in 2014.

I am the current jury liaison for the Sunburst Award for Excellence in Canadian Literature of the Fantastic (link) and an editor with On Spec: The Canadian Magazine of the Fantastic (link)

I also participate in monthly roundtable critiques with local sf/fantasy writer’s group The Scruffies, founded by Barb Galler-Smith

Currently I’m at work on a novel The Dragon and the Doll and several unrelated short stories.
